One thing in my opinion is that it sucks to try to get dates at singles bars and clubs for some reason. But it isn't so bad to get some friends, including girls. Then the people you befriend in the bar have some girlfriends.
You meet them. One of them might really click. I met my wife at picnic that way. She was a friend of a friend. But the original friend I met in a bar. I did too much clubbing in my 20s but I could swear that wing-girls worked better. You walk arm-in-arm with a girl who is just a friend at a bar and girls are approaching like moths to fire.
But for wing-guys, also better in my opinion is pick one who is maybe shorter and less popular with girls. Then you look awesome. And girls approach. I think you have fun with it no matter what you do -- online or not. Have some fun. You get tired of it then take a break and reevaluate, and try to make it more fun next time.
I think lots of girls like guys having fun. And if they don't, who cares, you're having fun. Not sure how to do that these days. First, I was out of the game for 17 years, then covid.
